Key responsibilities include:
Provide oversight for maintenance, repair and construction of YVR assets monitored and controlled by the BMS Support YVR capital project teams for BMS/DDC controls upgrades, HVAC upgrades, tenant improvements and infrastructure upgrades Ensure compliance with YVR specifications, codes and standards for all maintenance activities and capital projects Review and approve contractor and internal lockout procedures Interface with third-party controls contractors and contracted controls maintenance service providers Develop energy-saving strategies and optimize system maintenance through Kaizen Analytics tools Plan and coordinate the migration from Delta BuildingManagement software to EnteliWeb Train maintenance crew personnel on BMS system Key qualifications include:
At least five years of proven work experience in the BMS field as an ApplicationEngineer or Services Technician, supplemented by the completion of a bachelor’s degree in Applied Science or Engineering; or an equivalent combination of training and experience Electrical Trade Qualification and/or 4th Class Power Engineer certification would be an asset Strong understanding of HVAC control systems to accurately appraise existing BAS systems components, evaluate general site conditions and recommend the most applicable system or technical solution Knowledgeable regarding governing building, electrical and mechanical codes, ASHRAE and NFPA standards Demonstrated experience calibrating, testing and verifying BMS components Proven experience with BACnet protocol, third-party integration, programming and verification of Fieldserver gateways, and reading and understanding electrical and control diagrams Who We Are YVR is more than just an airport.
