Responsibilities Key responsibilities include:
Conduct portfolio and investor level analytics on various ESG metrics, identifying areas of improvement.
Coordinate with service providers, internal teams (e.g., property management, portfolio, etc.), and externally hosted databases (Brightly, ENERGY STAR, etc.) to ensure data quality and data completeness to enable valuable analytics.
Support annual property budgeting process.
Contribute to the delivery of all corporate and investor reporting initiatives including annual sustainability report, GRESB, UNPRI, and Quarterly/Monthly property reports.
Oversee BOMA BEST Volume and partner with property teams to support other green certification and awards programs.
Support the development of the Epic’s ESG targets, policies, and best practices.
Develop understanding of property management business processes including key service contracts, to support corporate data integration and automation efforts.
Implement tools to support regular tracking of KPIs across the property managed portfolio, generating periodic KPI reports.
Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Building Science, Environmental Science or Studies, Business with Sustainability, or related field.
Minimum 1-2 years related experience in sustainability, project management, data/analytics, and communications.
Experience that demonstrates strong technical competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint Experience in commercial real estate is preferred Solution oriented with strong critical thinking and analytical skills Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, enthusiastic attitude and commitment to service excellence Ability to work independently and take personal responsibility for work Strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to draft professional correspondence and create effective reports/presentations from raw material Able to organize, prioritize and multi-task to ensure timely completion of work Demonstrates thoroughness and excellent attention to detail Familiarity with global green building certification programs including BOMA BEST, Zero Carbon Building Standard, WELL, Fitwel and LEED Knowledge of sustainability data management systems (eg.
