ysis of the current budgeting process and reporting requirements of financial information, as well as future requirements to meet executive and stakeholder needs Develops and implements standardized reporting tools such as templates and analysis tools for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, constantly striving to improve processes and streamline operations by seeking innovative solutions for information delivery and reporting submission Identifies and investigates quarterly variances to budget and forecast, proactively identifying improvement opportunities and potential risks Assists the Financial Controller in providing systems administration and process training as required Ensures client requirements are met by providing recommendations, proposing solutions, and creating functional documentation for high-end client satisfaction Develops a strong understanding of the company’s income generating portfolio from an accounting and operational perspective and can communicate key issues with management Defines, measures, analyzes, and improves current processes with impacts on financial results while monitoring internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to policies, processes, and procedures Mentors other team members through informal discussions and participates in cross functional initiatives and ad hoc projects to provide financial analysis for decision support Researches and advocates for the interpretation and application of new accounting standards, including drafting technical accounting assessments, policies, position papers, and memos for internal auditor use Coordinates year-end financial audits with external auditors and manages the audit issue resolution process What you will bring:
The ideal candidate should possess a CPA designation or be enrolled in the program, with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in Finance and Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Prior experience in commercial property operations or property development would be advantageous A strong financial background and expert level proficiency in Excel are mandatory Proficiency in financial modelling/analysis in Excel, along with analytical and problem soling skills, with a solid understanding of accounting principles is essential Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work accurately in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines are crucial Being self-motivated, results driven, and able to work in a ever changing environment is highly valued Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to articulate key themes and messages to internal and external stakeholders, are required What you will receive:
