a day in the life:
* Act as a key strategic partner for People & Culture in financial analysis of pay practices.
* Lead the creation of a centralized open headcount budgeting process by building out the relevant process documentation and tools required.
* Partner with FP&A team on a monthly basis to understand risk/opportunities to the people cost forecast.
* Work with P&C analytics team to build out requirements of an OTH reporting tool as the FP&A stakeholder.
* Support the annual budgeting cycle through creating tools to inform the headcount cost planning.
* Proactively seeks opportunities to improve processes and forecasting accuracy across the global people costs.
* Support organizational planning & analysis as the FP&A stakeholder.
qualifications:
* Minimum 6 years of progressive finance, financial analysis or reporting experience with fast paced business environments.
* Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or similar.
* CPA or MBA is an asset.
* Hyperion, Oracle, Powerbi knowledge is a plus.
* Strong financial background; exceptional analytical and modeling skills; expert knowledge of Excel is required.
* Extremely organized, detail oriented and takes pride in quality.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiples task in a time sensitive manner.
* Excellent team player as well as the ability to work independently.
* Effective communication skills (written & verbal).
