As a Program Advisor, you will be responsible for:

•Tracking Government of Canada direction on digital, to help inform and align the CNSC digital priorities •Managing various aspects of an integrated IM/IT program, with a focus on modernizing and transforming the way we engage with the organization and deliver the IM/IT program mandates, including IM/IT policy management and work planning •Designing, building, and delivering the Digital Program Performance Assurance, including program performance monitoring and reporting, and financial management Essential Qualifications:

Education:

University degree in information management, computer science, business, or communications, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and relevant job knowledge will also be considered.

REG 5 and REG 6•Program and policy research and analysis to inform the design and delivery of an integrated program management framework and its various products•Building, delivering, and evaluating program performance measurement products and associated reports and dashboards •Technical writing, creating various process and procedural material•Managing multiple assignments in parallel while aligning to prioritiesREG 6•Providing expert advice on various aspects of integrated program management, including the design, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of strategies, frameworks, plans and their different elements•Managing the development and integration of IM/IT policy suite•Preparing various briefings, executive summaries, reports and dashboards for senior management and governance committees•Liaising with external organizations to confirm and fulfill the IM/IT reporting requirementsKnowledge of:

REG 5 and REG 6•Program management principles, theories, and practices•Performance measurements, metrics setting and reporting•Government of Canada Digital Operations Strategic Plan, Policy on Service and Digital, and Policy on the Planning and Management of InvestmentsREG 6•Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework•Project Management techniquesAbility to:

REG 5 and REG 6•Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing•Facilitate and negotiate solution options to differences of opinion, incorporating opposing views of various stakeholders•Drive and deliver multiple assignments in parallel with limited supervisionREG 6•Develop complex, structured, and high-quality content that are presentable to senior management with limited supervision Key Competencies:
