All RTM positions will be instrumental in ensuring the reliable supply of trains and maintenance services on the Confederation Line.

Core Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Manage, and continually optimize, RTM’s engineering configuration and change management processes.
Manage RTM’s product warranty claim process, including development of claim substantiations.
Administer the contract variations process, including oversight of estimate preparation Work with internal resources and/or subcontractors to define scope of work and quantify resource requirements for contract variations.
Work with department leads to identify resources needed to reach objectives and collaborate with these resources in an effective and efficient manner.
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various senior management and other stakeholders.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards for change management and project estimating.
Monitor effectiveness of change processes and make adjustments as needed.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized institution Licensed P.Eng.
in the Province of Ontario Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Experience in engineering change management 5-8 years experience on major infrastructure projects, with preference given to one of more of design, project management, testing and commissioning, change management, operations and maintenance Experience managing projects through their full lifecycle Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline Proven ability to solve problems creatively Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices Excellent analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness RideauTransitMaintenance OttawaOntario
