- What will you be doing as our Supply Chain Manager? Taking responsibility for the effective day-to-day management of direct and indirect vendors supplying the Canada operation.

Developing and expediting supply plans at vendor level to ensure the smooth running of production and the on-time fulfilment of customer orders.

Overseeing Vendor Management including regular reviews and quality monitoring, commercial contract negotiation and oversight, service level agreements and seeking out new vendor opportunities.

Keeping our ERP system (NetSuite) up to date with accurate bills of material, part numbers and pricing information for our range of assembly products including bespoke special projects, and creations of internal Sales Order for R&D projects.

Working as part of a wider North American team to expediate the effective delivery of bespoke special projects.

Working internally with cross-functional teams to ensure stock availability and solve stock related issues, effectively using data to forecast and maximize capacity utilization based on lead times.

Undertaking analysis to inform our procurement approach considering assembly versus purchasing.

Management of the Supply Chain Planner to ensure departmental optimization and development (regular 1 on 1s, setting clear objectives and development plans, performance management as required).

Other related duties as required.

What will give you the edge? Proven experience in a similar vendor management, procurement, or inventory / material planning role.

Understanding of standard ERP planning methodology (ideally NetSuite) .

min/max planning, EOQ, ATP, Purchase Order, Sales Order structures, item and vendor master data.

Line Management experience.

Solid understanding of vendor management.

A proven background in manufacturing or assembly.

Excellent Communication skills and ability to build good working relationships.

Comfortable working in an ambiguous and changeable environment.

Self-motivated, willing to take the initiative and make decisions.

Determination and resilience with the ability to rise to the challenge.

A flexible approach, with a desire to learn and develop.
