 This is a HYBRID role for our Markham, ON location.

About the role:

As a Strategic Account Manager, one is expected to possess exceptionally high analytical competency (inclusive of Excel and PowerPoint skills) balanced with a strong professional presence and customer focus.

You will partner with clients and the client services team to identify opportunities to drive business growth & profitability, and help clients achieve their fleet goals.

In the role of the Strategic Account Manager, you will identify opportunities to improve our clients’ fleet performance through in-depth data discovery, and through financial and process analyses.

This will include gathering, analyzing and interpreting data, drawing conclusions, determining the appropriate course of action, reporting results, and making meaningful recommendations.

You will then be responsible for working with the client to execute upon your recommended courses of action.

Specific responsibilities include:

Conduct in-depth discovery, financial and fleet process analyses with current customers and prospects, sales personnel (using existing and ad-hoc financial models) to identify, communicate and implement productivity solutions that drive value for customers; Provide high-impact, value-added analytical support to Client Services to grow existing customer relationships, participating in deal strategy sessions, preparing and presenting customer reviews; Identify and execute on volume and service program upsell opportunities to drive business growth and profitability; Support customer implementation of recommended actions and track realization of cost savings through dashboards and reviews; Participate in training and developing best practices, which can be leveraged and used by other members of the team; Prepare and deliver customized presentations outlining results of individual analyses; Provide technical knowledge of leasing, accounting and fleet services offered to customers and prospects.

Complete all mandatory initiatives to improve client retention and penetration of leased units and service programs.

Monitor and manage data accuracy of all client information maintained in designated systems (AS400, Salesforce, etc.) Provide on-going client relationship management, support, consultation, training and other services which are reasonably expected by our clients Co-ordinate resources in the delivery of services to clients Take the lead role in on boarding new clients to ensure smooth transition and enhanced customer/driver experience  Assistance to Account Executives in the sales process, including but not limited to, quotations, concession management, strategies, recommendations, proposals, consultation with prospects, participation in presentations, and initial customer set-up and structure   Desired Skills and Experience:

  Capable of communicating with potential customers at all levels of an organization, with an emphasis on listening for problems that need to be solved  Flexibility and ease with having multiple customer contacts  Possesses a financial background to understand the present value of a financial transaction Has an interest in finding solutions for problems both internal and external to the business  Capable of handling multiple prospects at different stages of development at any given time  Likes to develop working relationships with clients and is able to adjust their approach based on the situation that they are presented with  Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role ideally in the fleet automotive sector Above average Excel and Powerpoint skills Salesforce experience and asset Bilingual (French/English) considered an asset but not required   What you can expect from the company:
