What you'll do:

As a Senior HR Advisor, you’ll join a small but mighty team to:

•Drive exciting transformation and digital modernization initiatives in the Human Resources Directorate with impact across the CNSC•Collaborate with colleagues to lead/co-develop/support initiatives in relation to the transformation and digital modernization of HR•Challenge the status quo with a group of fun, inclusive, open-minded and talented professionals•Work in a collaborative, innovative and supportive environment•Provide strategic advice to influence decisions makers to make an impact on the future of work at CNSC•Engage with business partners and establish relationships to identify HR needs and priorities•Access a diverse range of formal and informal training and developmental opportunities to advance your career and knowledge•Make connections and build meaningful relationships with business partners and clients across the CNSC and the Canadian government.

Essential Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor degree from a recognized university with specialization in human resources, management, public or business administration or an acceptable combination of relevant education and experienceLanguage Requirements:

Bilingual imperative with proficiency at BBB level.

Experience:

•Leading projects or change initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders•Developing presentations, reports or briefing notes for senior management•Conducting research, analyzing information and data from various sources, developing options and providing advice, guidance and/or recommendations to senior management on areas of interest•Establishing and maintaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including other government departments, central agencies and/or bargaining agentsKnowledge of:

•Knowledge of trends and developments facing human resources in the public service.•Communications strategies, best practices and trends in support of managing projects and changeTechnical competencies:
