The incumbent will lead a team of product managers, UX/UI, BSA (Business System Analyst) that support a portfolio of digital products within the CRC.

It guides the organization’s Product Management & Client centric approaches and promotes best practices to ensure consistency among products and deliverables across the portfolio.

The incumbent will work in collaboration to the CIO, as a member of the TG leadership team, participates in and contributes to the overall development and implementation of Tech & Digital strategy for the Society.

Expected to work closely and collaboratively with other members and support the CIO and other business executives.The incumbent will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to guide the alignment of the product portfolio strategy to support service line, identifies innovative opportunities to develop and reinforce the CRC’s digital product offering and enhance mission-critical business operations.

Including client facing Digital Product/Applications across all Service line, the backbone Enterprise Product/Applications like ERP, HCM, etc.

also bring some potential products to the market.

In this role, you will:

Responsibility 1:

Strategy Drive the Product operating model, shifting from Project toward Hybrid/full product management.Champion the human/user centric design, UX function embedded to the project/products development.Market orientation
- monitoring/scanning the market trends, partner ecosystem and competitive strategies.As member of the TG leadership team – participate and contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of the overarching Tech & Digital strategy and roadmap.Review, update and improve processes, practices, tools, structures, etc.

with a focus on Continuous Service Improvement.Prepare and manage related budgets, including the analysis of operational costs and optimizations.Contributes to the establishment and execution of a engagement strategy that ensures employees have the tools and work environment to be more engaged, productive, and effective.

Responsibility 2:

Product Management & Operation Direct the development and delivery of Digital product offerings throughout Canada by ensuring that policies, procedures, plans, programs, and services are developed and followed in a way that supports the Society’s Mission to meet its strategic goals, through partnering with the National and Provincial heads of departments.Work with senior leadership & product managers to develop a clear shared product portfolio vision and strategy, ensuring the product team and executive sponsors are focused on a shared vision and performance measurement.Develop strategic partnerships to explore the opportunities and feasibility to enhance our ‘digitalproduct offering and identify other potential customer segments e.g., Federal, Provincial & Municipal engagement.Oversee the UX/UI team, and expand the User Experience expertise, discovery framework and toolkit to bring a user-centric approach to problem-solving that leads to innovation and a competitive advantage to the CRC’s digital product offering.Evaluate the products in terms of how they perform relative to each other to inform strategic prioritization and identify gaps that represent opportunities for the organization (increased revenue, costs savings etc.).Lead the design, planning, and the implementation of product management lifecycle, in alignment with TG Strategy and in support of the organization’s Digital transformation.Works with Enterprise & Solution Architecture, and Development/delivery team to identify the inter-relationships between products and solutions & capability roadmaps.

Work with Product managers and other TG leads to ensure proper documentation of concept papers, business cases & release plans relating to the initiatives & products.Work with product teams to define, evolve, mature and roll-out clear KPIs to measure delivery success and consistently drive continuous improvement.

Responsibility 3:

Team Leadership Directly oversee a team of Product Managers, Business Systems and Process Analysis, UX, Agile Project Manager/ Scrum masters.Works with People Services to develop an people strategy that aligns with the business and TG strategy, continually look for leading-edge and innovative solutions to the recruitment, development, and retention of the TG workforce.Cultivate an innovative environment by supporting creativity, continuous improvements, and high-performance teamwork.Provide strong interpersonal and communication skills with a specific focus on team and individual professional development.Create and maintain a professional culture within the teams, where individuals take ownership and are fastidious and proud of delivering excellence and quality.Plan for team growth considering the blend/level of skills required within the TG organization and adapt the resourcing makeup as required.Support other Red Cross initiatives, as needed, to provide for a coordinated team effort to meeting the needs of the vulnerable in the community.Participates in disaster planning, preparation, and response as needed.Contributes to a healthy and safe working environment.Performs other duties as required.

What we are looking for:

Diploma or degree on Information Systems, Business, or related discipline.Fifteen or more years of working experience, and 5+ with Team management is required.Demonstrated leadership in managing product Delivery in a complex, fast paced and dynamic environment during times of significant growth and change.Experience influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.The ability to communicate and negotiate with senior business leaders.Demonstrated GTM (Go to Market) experience with SaaS product.Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organization design, and development.Solid understanding of current trends in product management, Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices and tools.Experience working in a non-profit environment is an asset.Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (including DevOps / Agile), Quality Assurance requirements, and software development control and release procedures.Experience in managing cross-functional teams effectively by building short, medium and long-term operating plans to achieve the business goals; revising the plan as necessary to deliver exceptional results.Experience in attracting, developing, and aligning talent across the organization to support the achievement of business goals and employees’ career goals; building a culture that motivates employees to do their best work.Agile and or DevOps certification or equivalent experience is desirable.Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.Expertise in budget planning and financial management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (French an asset), including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the Information Technology workforce.Demonstrated project management, planning, and implementation skills to prioritize, set, communicate, monitor, and meet objectives.Proactive approach with strong critical thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving skills.Client focus with the ability to explain complex issues in plain language to non-experts.Flexible, adaptable, and resilient, will adapt the approach as situations change in a fast-paced environment with multiple conflicting demands, ambiguity, and changing circumstances and demonstrated positive experience working in a cross-cultural environment.Strong process orientation with experience in reengineering and optimizing complex enterprise processes.

Working Conditions:

Ability to work from home as the primary workspace.May be required to work extended hours during peak workload periods to meet project deadlines or business requirements.Travel is required.Eligibility to work in Canada:
