· Able to observe and report incidents throughout your shift.
· Able to use a cell phone or desktop to write reports.
· Maintain the safety and security of all City locations.
· Drive around and patrol all city owned properties ensuring safety for the public.
· Provide breaks to static guard sites.
· Aid main patrol guard for emergency situations.
· Aid supervisor as needed.
· Aid account manager as needed.
· Provide any additional services as requested by the custome Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Brantford A valid security guard license and first aid card Minimum one year security experience First aid/CPR · Red Cross opioid awareness certificate · Valid OntarioSecurity License · Ability to obtain use of force certification within 30 days of hire.
· Ability to obtain mental health awareness training within 30 days of hire.
· Ability to obtain NVCI within 30 days of hire.
· Ability to obtain MOAB within 30 days of hire.
Must be able to sit, stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
· Must be able to obtain a criminal record check.
· Able to work various shifts, day, afternoon, and night shifts including STAT holidays and weekends.
· Able to work up to 12 hours per day.
· Must be at least 25 years of age.
· Must have a valid G Class license.
