Role Overview As a Sales Manager and Leader at ABGi Canada, you will report to the Head of Sales and Marketing and lead a growing team of BDM’s within Ontario and Montreal.

You will be both player and coach and have a solid understanding of our industry.

You will be hunter and farmer with accounts and understand a strategic way to open new markets and grow existing relationships.

Your objective will be to pursue new logos, opportunities with innovative companies meeting criteria.

You will use your sales skills and lean on your ability to build long-term relationships to support our customers in grants and subsidies, tax credits to achieve success.

You will be partnered and supported by a legacy team of industry leaders committed to your success throughout your tenure.

This role will be Remote as well and on-site from our Toronto / Montreal office to support our local teams.

A Day In The Life Manage and coach a team of Business Development Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.

Validate the sales team's proposals when they are outside the usual scope.

Validate contracts.

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Work with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Manage the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation.

Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the market and competitive landscape.

Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports.

Maintain sales KPI's.

Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure a smooth handoff of sold engagements.

Requirements Bilingual French
- English.

Bachelor’s degree is required, with a masters degree or above preferred.

Minimum of 6 years’ experience of sales or business development in the tax credits and incentives industry.

Proven experience using a sales methodology to generate sales leads, open doors and manage the sales cycle to contract signing.

Consultative sales experience at the executive level (C level).

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) combined with strong listening skills Previous experience working with a large consulting firm is a plus.

Knowledge selling or working in the financial services industry is a plus.
