Streetcar Developments and Archive Hospitality are currently seeking a Payroll and Benefits Administrator who is a passionate and detail oriented individual to join our team.

Position:

Payroll and Benefits Administrator The Role at a Glance:

A key administrative member of the corporate head offices of Streetcar Developments and Archive Hospitality.

Responsible for maintaining accurate team member details in the payroll and benefit systems.

Reports To:

Director, People & Culture Your Day to Day Duties :

Maintain and update electronic team member information and records in payroll and benefit systems.

Coordinate with People & Culture to ensure accurate team member data.

Prepare, verify and process all team member payroll related payments, including regular pay, benefit payments, and special payments such as gratuities, bonuses and vacation pay.

Complete, verify and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits.

Prepare payroll related filings and supporting documentation, T4’s, Records of Employment and other statements.

Provide information on payroll matters, benefit plans and collective agreement provisions.

Provide information and answer team member questions about payroll and benefit related matters.

Compile reports and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts as required.

Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.

Support the development and implementation of payroll policies, procedures or processes.

Provide administrative assistance to the finance department as required.

Handling all requests and concerns with speed and professionalism.

Provide backup coverage to Office Manager when required.

Other tasks and responsibilities as required.

You Have:

Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll department.

Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs.

Experience with ADP and Desjardins preferred.

Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Good time management and organizational skills.

Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations.

Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize and multitask effectively.

The ability to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion and maturity.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

A flexible and adaptable nature.
