The NationalPracticeLeader will lead our responses to changes in industry, emerging issues and client expectations, and help our Indoor Environmental Quality operations to remain current and competitive.
The successful candidate will join his/her peers and a team of PracticeLeaders from other service lines to collaborate and strategize with.The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Overall Service Delivery and Quality of WorkLeading a team of Regional PracticeLeaders and Practice Specialists Working closely with the Practice representatives from the other Pinchin Group companiesDevelop a national strategic plan in conjunction with Regional Managers/EVPs, for new business opportunities and service features that align with Corporate Strategy and Market NeedProviding technical training and mentoring within the PracticeSharing expertise with others on the team and in the company Performing regular visits to all offices offering Indoor Environmental Quality servicesSpeaking or moderating at relevant conferences and networks with industry leadersEnsuring that knowledge is shared with current and prospective clients at company-sponsored seminars, with white papers, blogs, etc.Publicizing the company’s practice area expertiseLeading technology advancements within the Practice, including but not limited to researching field data collection tools and reporting efficiencies using technology Representing the company’s practice area expertise in developing new business and servicesDeveloping and maintaining templates, SOPs and other Practice resourcesAuditing completed projects and mentor team members to improve quality.Maintaining an awareness of Practice Line Financial and Business Performance.Contributing to the development of new business materials and presentations related to the Practice.Performing additional duties as assigned by the Director of PracticeLeadership, CTO or CEO.Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science or Applied Science degree in relevant discipline.CET or other relevant credentials; a CIH, ROH, or P.Eng.
designation will be considered an asset.10+ years in a related role; experience within the consulting industry will also be considered an asset.Experience with training and mentoring staffIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointStrength in leadership, communication, negotiation, time management, and decision making.Proven positive attitude towards technology advancement within fieldwork and reporting.Must be able to read, comprehend, and proof written reports and correspondence.Relationships with research institutes and academia would be considered an asset.
