In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of portering duties in various areas of the Hospital, which will include:
Transportation of patients and equipment to all areasTransportation of specimens, soiled equipment and Delivery of clean and soiled linen cartsTransportation of pharmaceutical meds, supplies and scriptsOther duties as assigned What you bring to Oak ValleyHealth:
Previous experience in a customer service rolePortering experience preferredGood communication and interpersonal skillsProficient computer skillsAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamAble to prioritize and work in an environment with multiple demandsDemonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standardsDemonstrated commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required.
