Position Responsibilities Oversee procurement & forecasting activities in support of AOP sales goals Responsible for managing overall Quality, receiving, distribution activities and cost performance of supplycenter.
Effectively communicate with interdepartmental supervisors/managers to provide the necessary support to ensure the integrity of the Commercial and CGP program operations.
Specific responsibilities to include the following:
establish and communicate high level sales objectives and strategic approaches, supervise commercial and support teams, implement specific strategies within the region, establish priorities & assign workloads.
Work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality, seamless customer service.
Develop work assignments and objectives for team members; develop and implement long term processes for account management and warehouse personnel.
Facilitate / implement contract negotiations in Calgary business areas - with customers (TCCA), building lease issues in cooperation with Mirabel Contracts team.
Collectively work with CGP Managers & Finance Business Partner on measurement reports, problem solving and improvement projects to support and expand service offerings to the DND / ISS customer.
Participate in related trade shows and symposiums as required, and liase with government / industry groups in support of aviation issues.
Liase directly with customers in support of enhancing aftermarket relationships through implementation of FOAs / Affiliate, CRO / kit sales Manage & facilitate CSF communications, regional, and 1-on-1 meetings within the region Manage & facilitate customer appreciation events Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Legal, Science or related field More than 10 years of professional experience desired Five years of experience at Bell with demonstrated performance and progressive levels of responsibility may be accepted in lieu of degree or professional experience Experience with systems related to purchase order transactions and contracts/subcontracts administration.
Government contracting and aerospace experience is an asset Specific Required Skills Strong leadership, communication, and team building skills.
Strong ability to develop and implement business strategy in a procurement environment.
Financial and operational expertise.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in negotiation strategies and tactics.
Self-starter, ability to work in a team environment to achieve desired objectives.
