The Machinist is responsible for precision machining of multiple parts for Wexxar Bel product lines (IPAK, Wexxar, Belcor) using old and new CNC machines.
In this role you will… Efficiently utilize all machinery in the machine shop area Troubleshoot and initiate engineering changes Manufacture any part per released drawings Set up parts on machine shop equipment Train other machine shop personnel when required Who we’re looking for? Red Seal Machinist or equivalent 5 years working experience in a machine shop environment with CNC machine experience Able to read and interpret engineering drawings Ability to use mechanical hand tools, handheld power tools and mechanical measuring tools Ability to operate manual machine shop equipment Ability to enter shop order data into ERP system Good training and guiding skills for new machinist in the set-up and production of all parts Knowledge of CNC programming As a Wexxar employee, you receive more than just a paycheck.
