As ATB's next Investment Advisor, you are someone that is able to listen to what is being said
- and what isn't.

You believe in taking the time to understand your clients' needs and goals to help make their time richer, their aspirations closer and their happiness deeper.

You appreciate the value internal experts can provide your clients, and are skilled at working together to develop an integrated advice offering.

You will find success based on your ability to:

Master the basics of holistic investment planning, equip yourself with the industry leading expertise and support our clients' needs as they become more complex Deeply understand our clients and commit to always having their best interests at heart.

You will work towards earning the trust of our clients, to not just advise clients but to challenge them to make the best financial decisions possible Strive to make our clients time richer, happiness deeper and aspirations closer as we ensure that they are supported throughout their journey Help them to connect the dots between their wealth and aspirations and support them at every stage of their lives Requirements 10 years of sales and customer experience in the financial services industry (preferably 5 in Wealth Management) with proven ability to develop and grow a book of investment clients Knowledge and experience trading equities and providing quotes required Ability to demonstrate that they are or can be registered with a dealer-member firm that is regulated by CIRO and meet proficiency requirements relative to the former IIROC standards Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, Business or a related field (equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered) Completed or working towards the QAFP and/or the CFP designation would be considered an asset Experience with Salesforce, Planning software, Croesus Proven ability to develop your book of business through leveraging community networks Effective relationship building, communication and discovery skills Ability to meet or exceed required sales goals An established COI network Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills Demonstrated proficiency with the use of virtual communication tools Highly organized and able to meet time sensitive deadlines At ATB, we know that as you develop in your career, you gain many transferable skills.
