Duties IncludeManage effective preplanning for an assigned customer based on:
customer requirements, planning requirements in other regions, equipment requirements and any special needs requests applicable to drivers and/or equipment located in your direct managed area.React to changes in customer requirements/equipment failures/driver availability in a prompt mannerImplement efficient equipment utilization Monitor and maintain customer trailer pools Work with customers, other carriers and load brokers to balance the trucksEnter the “Non Committed” preplan into the computer promptlyWork with Driver Managers to achieve Driver Manager needs and goalsRelated duties assigned by supervision or managementQualificationsMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience in effective trip planningExperience planning automotive lanes will be considered an assetStrong self discipline - to effectively complete tasks without constant supervisionStrong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills Good verbal and written communication skillsGood interpersonal skillsEffective geographical knowledge of North AmericaMust be willing and able to work Statutory holidays when requiredEffective computer keyboard skillsHoursDays:
