This position is a pro-active role, the individual can think on their feet and predict what is necessary to meet all guest’s expectations at the marina.
The individual in this role understands that safety is at the forefront of every marina adventure to ensure ultimate comfort.Please note that this position is a seasonal fixed contract until Septmeber 2022.
If a suitable position is available in another department at the end of the contract employment may continue thereafter.About you.Professionalism, confidence, and calmness in every interaction people feel like they’re in capable hands with youEffective communication and decision-making skillsCertified in the operation of pleasure crafts (Pleasure Craft Operator Card) or willingness to obtainThe ability to perform physical work, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift 50 lbsA flexible availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays based on business demandReliable transportation to get to-and-from Brentwood BayWhat you'll be doing.Maintain marina equipment and supplies to certify safety standardsAssist all incoming and outgoing vesselsAssist with loading and unloading paddleboards and kayaksAssist guests in safely docking in their slips and welcoming them to the resortPerform daily trash and recycling removal as directedMaintain clean restrooms, docks, walkways, ramps, office, beach front and equipmentInspect docked vessels to ensure vessel and guest safetyEnsure docks, equipment and facilities are operational and in good repair at all timesFull understanding on marina emergency proceduresWhat we offer.$18 per hourExtensive health benefitsAward winning culture that makes you actually want to come to workWe give you the platform to do amazing things in a beautiful locationPersonal and professional development opportunitiesEmployee referral program (cash bonus for successful candidates!)Employee discounts that include:
