We are seeking experts in the Data Management and Analytics space with a focus on Snowflake, who can build credibility and trust with the clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.
The ideal candidate should have 12+ years of experience in IT, 3+ years of experience working as a SnowflakeDataArchitect and 8+ years in Data warehouse, ETL, and BI projects, preferably with SSIS or Informatica.
As a DataArchitect, you will be comfortable working with both technical teams and client business leaders (C-Suite and down) and know how to build bridges between the two.
You will have excellent communications skills, be adept at mapping business needs to technology solutions, and help non-technical audiences understand the benefits of these solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management Work with our strategic clients on key initiatives, providing expert knowledge to address individual and unique business needs Provide resolution to an extensive range of complicated data pipeline-related problems, proactively and as issues surface Deploy Snowflake features such as data sharing, events and lake-house patterns Build and implement solutions in Snowflake, including data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored Procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts Troubleshoot problems across infrastructure, platform, and application domains Ensure compliance with data security and data access controls and design Develop expertise in Snowflake advanced concepts such as resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, and time travel and understand how to use these features Work with AWS or Azure data storage and management technologies such as S3 and ADLS Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members Qualifications:
Expertise in Snowflake – data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored Procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods and approaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modelling) Experience with AWS or Azure data storage and management technologies such as S3 and ADLS Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning and troubleshooting Experience with data security and data access controls and design Certified Snowflake cloud data warehouse Architect (Desirable) Strong experience in consultative selling, building credibility and trust with clients, and providing knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs Strong written and oral communication skills Agile development methodologies experience DataFinery Inc.
