Provide frontline customer service to the public by telephone, in-person and email correspondence in a timely manner.Prepare marriage licences and perform Commissioner of Oaths services.Register animal licenses and process payments for animal licences, parking ticket and permits.Balance cash register and prepare daily bank deposits.Prepare letters to accompany proclamation and celebratory certificates (i.e.

birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions).Provide back-up support to other staff in section, including coverage during leave periods (e.g.

vacation)Other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Skills:

Must be eligible to work and reside within CanadaMinimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.Minimum of two (2) years strong front-line customer service experience in an office setting.Excellent customer service skills.Excellent organization, administrative and time management skills.Experience with processing payments, balancing cash and preparing bank deposits.Excellent keyboarding skills to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to quickly learn and work with various software.Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive matters.Ability to provide a current criminal record check that is satisfactory to the Town of Ajax, upon being hired. Don’t miss out on this Customer Service Associate job in Ajax, apply now!
