About the Opportunity The Clerk is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the department in its communications with other departments and support to the nurses and medical staff. She/he must be able to handle multiple demands and priorities in a busy and unpredictable environment.
4 West is an inpatient medical unit.
The unit is built on its foundational values of working together, respect, advocacy, human kindness, productive gossip, professionalism, support, adaptability, making a difference, being proactive, and open and honest communication.

About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
Grade XII plus one year related experience OR graduate of a recognized one year secretarial/business program General office skills an asset Demonstrated ability to remain calm during an emergency and deal with numerous interruptions and continuous change an asset Effective communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrates problem solving and decision making skills Competencies in other languages are an asset, French preferred Please ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.
Hours Temporary - Full time, Long Assignment (100%) 70 Hours Bi-weekly This position has an anticipated start date of February 4, 2024 and end date of November 30, 2024 This position will consist of days, evenings, and weekends with a set rotation.
