A Day in the Life
Leading an established local engineering team, the Civillead will collaborate, listen and learning from our greater Kamloops & Allnorth team (nearly 700 strong) to determine the best path forward for growth and sustainability.
Most importantly sharing a laugh.
Additional key responsibilities include
Managing a variety of projects such as infrastructure upgrades and subdivision developments, including design and construction of water, sewer, drainage, and transportation infrastructure
Provide technical guidance to a team of Professional Engineers, EITs and designers to deliver preliminary to detailed design drawings and specifications
Carry out estimates of project costs, analysis and calculations, design review, preparation of reports, proposals, and contract documentation
Continue to develop business relationships with current and potential clients;
Interface directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations to deliver projects across the Province / Country / North America
Work with CivilEngineering (and other discipline) leads across Allnorth to further maintain and develop the practice at Allnorth to or beyond the industry standard.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
Bachelor’s degree in CivilEngineering
Must be registered (or eligible to register) as a Professional Engineer (P.
Eng.) in the province of BritishColumbia
10+ years of relevant experience in civilengineering and project management
Experience in mining, municipal and land development would be considered an asset
Strong project management, technical and analytical skills
Strong communication / technical writing skills demonstrated through experience in the preparation of correspondence, reports and proposals
Effective verbal communicator, including presentation, facilitation and listening skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; able to mentor and work with junior engineers and designers
Good organization skills and strong attention to detail

A competitive base salary of 130,000 - 160,000 annually depending on experience.
