MSEE or PhD with Analog IC design focus • Work Experience:
Have completed an entire product design cycle Concept / Specification --> Architecture --> Schematics --> Layout --> Tapeout --> Silicon test / Debug --> Production Release Previous start-up work experience is a plus • Domain Knowledge:
Expertise in analog circuit design in sub-32nm CMOS, including FinFET and techniques for low-voltage, sub-threshold analogdesign Experience designing low power and low voltage current mirrors, comparators, and OTAs.
Experience designing switched-capacitor circuits of different kinds (filters, modulators, etc) In-depth understanding of data converter circuit design, including SAR, Delta-Sigma Modulator, Pipelined, etc. Familiarity with modulation, noise and linearity concepts Calibration & implementation of reference voltages/currents Chip level simulation techniques, fast-simulators, Matlab IC layout design, techniques, and verification methodologies Experience with front-end analog circuit blocks such as PGAs and buffers for a variety of sensor types On-chip power delivery and distribution Industry standard IC design tools and simulators • Location Role can be hybrid in Toronto/Ottawa or remote anywhere in Canada.
