Full-time | Permanent Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret shop drawings including welding symbols Prepares structural metal products for welding and riveting.
Lays out parts, lines up edges and fits parts together Knows how much to allow for the effects of heat and shrinkage on metal Positions parts by hand or uses cranes and hoists to position them.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Graduate of NBCC steel fabrication program (or equivalent) or minimum 2 years of experience in the trade Must be able to work both day and evening shifts, as well as overtime when required Capable of lifting 50lbs (35lbs female) Must have his own transportation Must be willing to do a criminal record check and drug test, facilitated bythe company.
