Documents assessment results, goals, treatment, client progress and dischargeplans.?Collaborates with other members of the health team as needed.?Communicated pertinent information and recommendations to clients/care providers and provideseducation regarding treatment strategies as needed.?Observes the performance of those assisting in the Occupational Therapy program and providesguidance as necessary.Other Responsibilities?Maintain active standing in College of OccupationalTherapists of Ontario.?Participate in ongoing internal and/or external education activities?Adhere to Bayshore ICS Policies and Procedures?Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with thecompany's Quality Management System?Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties.
Responsible to notifyimmediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.?Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only withappropriate Bayshore personnel?Complete other tasks as requestedJob QualificationQUALIFICATIONS Education:
Masters Degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
Registered and in good standing with College of OccupationalTherapists of Ontario.Experience:
Experience with in-home assessments and treatments; knowledge medical/legal report writing is an asset.Other Skills and Abilities:
Enjoy working with clients of all ages in multiple treatment environments.
Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.

Ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent manner.

Valid driver’s license.Current criminal reference check and vulnerable sector screenSTANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE:
The OccupationalTherapist must demonstrate ongoing competency in completing all duties and responsibilities of this job description, in response to changes by the regulating body, as well as agreed upon specific goals and objectives.PERFORMANCE REVIEW:
Performance will be reviewed on an ongoing basis with a formal review at the end of the three month probationary period and subsequently, on at least an annual basis.
