What you’ll doYou will be part of a new Information and DataManagement team tasked with managing and supporting a variety of processes including measuring and monitoring information and data lifecycles and ensuring conformance to governance standards and compliance programs.
Team members will be expected to act as subject matter experts regarding information and datamanagement issues and communicate best practices to CNSC employees.
You will be an integral contributor to building, implementing, and monitoring an information and datamanagement plan that interacts with different informationmanagement tools such as, but not limited to MS-Office 365, SharePoint, and eDocs.
Essential Qualifications:
Education:
Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a relevant field such as Library and Information Science, InformationManagement or Information Technology.
An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered.Language Requirements:
English esentialExperience:
•Experience working in an information or datamanagement field including research, analysis, and information or data life cycle management•Supporting informationmanagement and/or datamanagement solutions by applying relevant informationmanagement and records management principles.•Applying document and records management concepts such as metadata, taxonomies, and retention policies.•Interpreting policies, directives, and guidance in the areas of InformationManagement, DataManagement, Information Privacy, Information Security, and providing respective advice and guidance to business lines.•Providing service to clients in an information or datamanagement field.Knowledge of:
•Data Governance, Data Quality Management and Information Security principles•Research theory and methodology, data analysis models and techniques, data interpretation, evaluation and reporting.•Informationmanagement best practices•Process and procedure development•Government of Canada policies and directives in the areas of InformationManagement, Information Privacy, Information Security and Open Government would be a strong asset.Ability to:

Asset qualifications:
•Experience managing SharePoint sites and libraries (SharePoint Online preferred).•Experience with development of streamlined processes with M365 applications and Microsoft Power Apps.•Experience using data quality assurance techniques and tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques.•Trending technologies Operational Needs:
